Minor and Hess award winners announced


Priscilla Boegh, academic counselor, left, Dr. Pamela Fry, OSU-Tulsa provost and vice president for academic affairs, Howard Barnett, OSU-Tulsa president, Wes Horton, carpenter, and Ron Bussert, vice president for administration and finance celebrate staff awards.

Academic counselor Priscilla Boegh and carpenter Wes Horton were recognized recently for distinguished service and outstanding contributions to OSU-Tulsa students, faculty and staff.

OSU-Tulsa Provost Dr. Pamela Fry presented the Max Minor Service Award to academic counselor Priscilla Boegh on Monday.

Named in memory of long-time OSU employee Max Minor, the award recognizes staff members who demonstrate exceptional commitment to OSU-Tulsa.

Wes Horton, a carpenter at OSU-Tulsa, received this year's Roberta Joan Cothran Hess Staff Award in honor of his excellent work and dedication.

Dr. James Hess, Ed.D., head of the School of Health Care Administration at OSU-CHS, established the award in memory of his mother.
