Oklahoma inventors are invited to show off their product ideas and get professional development advice during the Show N’ Go event at the OSU-Tulsa Helmerich Research Center from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on July 18.
The OSU New Product Development Center (NPDC) – an outreach arm of the OSU College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology – is hosting the Tulsa event.
The Show N’ Go inventor showcase event will provide 30-minute time slots for individuals to present their inventions to a panel of experienced business and engineering professionals. Inventors from across Oklahoma are encouraged to register for the free event.
Presentations should include goals for the product, how the product works, how it will benefit the market, visual aids and any other information that might help panelists provide inventors with expert advice.
“We hope Oklahoma’s inventor community will seize this opportunity to take the next step and receive feedback on their products,” said Jessica Stewart, program manager for the OSU New Product Development Center. “We also are looking forward to seeing the innovations our state has to offer.”
The NPDC provides education, guidance, technical engineering assistance, resources and referrals to Oklahoma businesses, manufacturers and inventors. Programs include the Inventor Assistance Service, the Small Business Development Center and the Engineering Development Service.
The NPDC has offices in Stillwater and at OSU-Tulsa’s Helmerich Research Center.
