A group of Tulsa seventh and eighth graders will wrap up a week-long Tulsa Alliance for Engineering summer camp on June 22 with a tour of OSU-Tulsa and construction sites in downtown Tulsa.
During the camp, students will visit all six of the educational intuitions that make up the alliance – Tulsa Tech, Tulsa Community College, OSU-Tulsa, University of Oklahoma-Tulsa, Oral Roberts University and University of Tulsa.
Participants will visit OSU-Tulsa on June 22 to learn about engineering programs and complete a paper airplane experiment. Wallace Engineering is partnering with OSU-Tulsa for the event and will provide tours of their construction sites in the Brady District for the students. The goal of the Alliance is to increase the number of engineering graduates for Tulsa and northeastern Oklahoma.
