Kevin Holmes, director of business affairs at Oklahoma State University-Tulsa and OSU Center for Health Sciences, has been elected to serve on the National Association of Educational Procurement Board of Directors for District V.
NAEP is a non-profit professional association primarily dedicated to serving higher education purchasing officers in the U.S. and Canada. The organization facilitates the development, exchange and practice of effective and ethical procurement principles and techniques within higher education. Board members are nominated by a committee and voted on by the organization’s membership.
Holmes has served as director of business affairs for 12 years and has been involved in the university’s procurement for 17 years. His responsibilities include management of procurement, bursar, auxiliary services, inventory, budget and accounting functions.
A graduate of Leadership Tulsa, Holmes is certified in procurement management and fraud examination. He has an associate’s degree in business administration, a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master of education in higher education administration.
Holmes’ term on the NAEP board runs from 2013-2016.
