The OSU-Tulsa Library will be honored by the American Library Association in June for a recent marketing campaign to increase awareness of services and resources available for students, faculty and staff.
The campaign, designed by Marketing and Communications Services with input from the library staff, will receive the Best in Show Award in the Services and Resources Available/Patron Orientation Materials/Policy Materials category of the ALA’s Best of Show PR Xchange competition.
The campaign included a series of posters and digisigns that advertised services available at the library, ranging from research materials to reserving study rooms. Entries were evaluated on content, originality and design.
The annual best of show awards are sponsored by the Library Leadership Administration and Management Association's Public Relations and Marketing Section and recognize excellent public relations materials produced by libraries in the past year. The library will be recognized during the ALA Annual Conference in Chicago June 27-July 2 and the campaign will be on display during the PR Xchange program.
