OSU Class Rings available Oct. 4

Class RingThe OSU Alumni Association will showcase the Official OSU Class Ring on Monday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the North Hall Lobby.

The ring is available to alumni and current students with 60 or more credit hours. It was designed by a group of OSU students, alumni and administrators and is the only official ring recognized by the University.

OSU-Tulsa Career Fair offers students, alumni opportunity to meet potential employers

Career FairOSU students and alumni will have the opportunity to explore a diverse collection of employment possibilities at the OSU-Tulsa Career Fair on Oct. 7.

The Career Fair, which is for all majors, will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Main Hall Commons. Students seeking part-time, full-time and internship positions should come professionally dressed, bring résumés and be prepared to meet potential employers.

Participants can visit the Career Fair Photo Booth for a free digital photo for use on professional websites, blogs and social networking sites like LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. They can also register for a chance to win an iPod Touch.

Counseling Center offers variety of services

The OSU-Tulsa Counseling Center offers counseling and support resources to help students gain the skills and insights they need to thrive in their life and learning.

Counselors provide a confidential environment to discuss concerns about relationships, health, motivation, behaviors, stress, decision making, time management, grief and life decisions.

The Counseling Center is open to the community and fees are based on a sliding scale system. OSU students, faculty and staff receive the first five sessions free. For more information, visit the Counseling Center’s website or call 594-8568
