Saturday Enrollment Day set for Aug. 17

OSU-Tulsa will host a special Saturday Enrollment Day for current and prospective students on Saturday, Aug. 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Advising, enrollment and financial aid counselors will help students complete admission, verify financial aid and enroll for the fall semester, which begins Monday, Aug. 19.

In addition to the special Saturday Enrollment Day, students can visit advising and enrollment during regular business hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.

The OSU-Tulsa Bookstore will also be open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for students who wish to purchase books and other supplies.

Scholarships available for Oklahoma Academy Town Hall Conference

Students at OSU-Tulsa will have the opportunity to participate in a statewide discussion on ways to improve Oklahoma’s transportation infrastructure at a four-day conference this fall. 

The Oklahoma Academy will bring together community leaders and university students from across the state to participate in the 2013 Town Hall Conference on Oct. 27-30 at the National Center for Employee Development Conference Center in Norman. Participation in the conference is by invitation only and full scholarships are available.   

Participants will have direct input in developing the findings and recommendations on how Oklahoma plans, prioritizes, maintains, builds and finances transportation. Ideas generated at the conference will be pursued through the legislative process or community action.

OSU-Tulsa undergraduate students are eligible to apply for the conference. The scholarship includes the conference registration fee, lodging and meals. Discounted football tickets available for OSU-Tulsa students, faculty and staff

It’s time to cheer on the Oklahoma State Cowboys by purchasing your season tickets for the six home games that include TCU, Baylor and Oklahoma.

Students can buy discounted season tickets at the Oklahoma State Ticket Office using the following account ID: 13 + CWID. For example, if your CWID is 12345678, then your account ID is 1312345678. OSU-Tulsa faculty and staff members are eligible for discounted season tickets starting at $400.

Single game tickets, with the exception of the Bedlam game, begin at $70 per ticket for the non-conference game and $90 for the conference games. For best locations, consider purchasing season tickets. Single game ticket locations will be sold from the unused visitors’ allotment in the east end of the stadium.

BOB shuttle service will resume Aug. 19

BOB shuttleShuttle service between Stillwater and Tulsa on BOB, the Big Orange Bus, will resume Aug. 19. Reservations are required and may be made by calling 918-594-8332 or visiting the Information Center in North Hall. Tickets are $7.50 for students and $13 for non-students per one-way trip. Reservations can be made up to a month in advance.
