A group of 18 Union High School students were on campus Wednesday to learn about the admissions and financial aid process during OSU Day at OSU-Tulsa.

Students learned about how to transfer from Tulsa Community College to OSU in either Tulsa or Stillwater to complete a bachelor's degree and about freshman admission to OSU-Stillwater.

The students also took a tour of the OSU-Tulsa campus. The event was sponsored by Prospective Student Services and Advising.

OSU-Tulsa will host Transfer Day on Thursday, Nov. 6 and Tuesday, Dec. 16. Transfer Day gives new students a convenient time to complete admission, apply for financial aid and enroll for Spring 2015 classes.

"This provides a kind of one-stop situation for our newly admitted students to get enrolled, meet with advisors and learn about financial aid,” said Susan Tolbart, director of recruitment and student development. “It’s also open to students who are thinking about coming here."

Students may check in at North Hall 130 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2-6 p.m. No appointment is necessary. To save time, online pre-registration is available on the OSU-Tulsa website.

For more information about Transfer Day or programs offered by OSU-Tulsa, contact Prospective Student Services by email or call 918-594-8355.
