OSU-Tulsa student helps OSU team beat Harvard, MIT in startup competition

OSU-Tulsa graduate student Muthu Subramanian developed a materials-strengthening additive that has become a proprietary product for OSU startup company, MITO Material Solutions, LLC.

MITO took second place in the prestigious Rice University Business Plan Competition, overtaking teams from Harvard and Stanford universities and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Read more.

Holmes elected to national higher education procurement board

Kevin Holmes, assistant vice president of budget and finance for OSU in Tulsa, recently was elected first vice president for the board of directors of the National Association of Educational Procurement.

He will rotate into the office of NAEP president in 2019.

Holmes has worked for OSU in Tulsa for 22 years overseeing procurement, budget and finance services for OSU-Tulsa and OSU Center for Health Sciences.
