OSU-Tulsa names director for Center for Poets and Writers

OSU-Tulsa selected Dr. Lindsey Claire Smith, OSU associate professor of English, as interim director of the Oklahoma Center for Poets and Writers, an organization aimed at celebrating Oklahoma’s literary heritage and examining the influence of writers from across the country. Read more.

Academic counselor Priscilla Boegh and carpenter Wes Horton were recognized recently for distinguished service and contributions to OSU-Tulsa students, faculty and staff. Read more.

City places crosswalk signs at OSU-Tulsa

New signs were installed Monday on John Hope Franklin Boulevard to protect pedestrians.

New signs warning vehicles to yield to pedestrians were installed Monday on crosswalks around the OSU-Tulsa campus.

Funding for the signage was obtained through a traffic safety grant from the Indian Nations Council of Governments. Read more.

OSU-Tulsa professor wins teaching award

Kinda Wilson and Shona Gambrell, director of Online Learning at the Spears School, at the USDLA National Conference.

OSU-Tulsa marketing professor Kinda Wilson was recently awarded the 2017 Excellence in Teaching Award by the U.S. Distance Learning Association.

Wilson has taught for the School of Marketing and International Business for more than 10 years at the OSU-Tulsa campus. Read more.
