We are in the process of putting together our core research laboratory in HRC 143. Equipped with four standard fume hoods, the laboratory is envisioned to have state-of-the-art facilities for synthesis and processing of ceramics and composites. These include:
... and more equipment is being added for high temperature and controlled atmosphere sintereing, autoclaving, milling, sectioning, polishing, etc. The group also plans to invest in a dedicated facility for synthesis, processing and testing of battery electrodes and ion conducting materials for SOFC electrolyte applications.
We also have access to various shared research facilities available on the campuses of Oklahoma State University.
Our research group plans to be an active subscriber of national user facilities for x-ray and neutron scattering studies. These include
